I think that dvd cover sheet posting is a bulls...
DVD does not get anything to do with movie history & amusement

these days most often there is a pre-release poster, then a release poster and then the artwork for the dvd. this is the cycle of the marketing for a film and sites like this are great because they are a database for the hard work that is done.
