Eric Rohman was born in 1891 in Sweden. He began designing posters around 1915 in Copenhagen, and from around 1920 he had his own studio with several employees. From the end of the 1910's to when he died in 1949, Rohman was one of the most productive movie poster artists. According to himself he has produced approximately 7000 movie posters.
Gösta Åberg, born 6 September 1905 in Stockholm, died 9 April 1981, was a Swedish painter, cartoonist, sculptor and advertising artist. Between 1935 and 1965 Åberg designed posters for thousands of films that are part of the Film History collections at the Technical Museum in Stockholm.
John Mauritz "Moje" Åslund was born in Sweden in 1904 and died in 1968. He studied in Münich in the 1930s and later worked as a scene decorator and advertising artist.
Swedish poster designer Walter Fuchs was born on 20 March 1914 in Stockhold and died on 15 September 1993 in Lidingö. After attending school in Paris, Fuchs held a variety of jobs in the entertainment advertising sector including manager at MGM from 1937 until 1944.
Håkansson was a commercial artist and studio boss and known for many great posters. He is perhaps best known for Gröna Lund (a Swedish amusement park and concert venue) posters that gave him a lot of attention.
