Development - Confusion with the unapproval count

Well, let me just start off by saying that I believe making a site compelling for newcomers is important. Thinking back to the day when I first came here there's one thing that I remember was comfusing for me.
I uploaded one image and there was a message the said something like:
There are 17 / 200 unapproved posters right now. You have 1 unapproved uploads right now.
I just did not understand what that ment. What's 17? I just uploaded one poster. 200? where did that come from?
So, since this is one of the first things that people are going to see when they start contributing to the site, well, I'd suggest changing it.
How about
You have succesfully uploaded a poster. It will be modirated by an admin for approval. There are currently 17 unapproved posters in the system off a maximum of 200.
Something on these lines.

I must say that I think the same that you. And Jayef and Martin, as the people who receive the web message from users should know it too (I don't know, but I imagine the LOTS of messages they must receive with that fact 😁smile:, as me and too many people I suppose have send a message asking for it. People easily feel themselves lost in that moment.

yeah i really thing the site will benefit by some extra documentation/instructions in general. The first second a visitor visits the site is the most important one. If he/she can't see what the site is about, he/she won't stick around.

Yeah just wait for the next BIG update. A lot of these 'flaws' will be fixed. It will also contain some very nice new features. I'll probably put it online when I meet jayef in the beginning of August in Switserland.
