Development - "Incorrect IMDb number" message for a valid number

For some reason I keep getting "Incorrect IMDb number..." message when I try to upload DVD cover artwork for number 0036483. This is first time I've had this issue.

Don't know why these IMDb numbers failed.. But I created the movie entries manually. You should be able to upload your images now.

Hello, I have the same problem and happens each time I want to upload a poster for a new film that is not in the database. Does anyone know what's happening?
Thanks! 😉

You're right: It seems that today new movie entries don't get created at all (automatically).
We probably have to wait for Martin to fix this.
In the meantime - if it's urgent - you could note down the concerning movies (by posting the IMDb links) here. Then we moderators can create them manually.

I also detect the problem last tuesday and sent a message about it to Martin.
We must wait.

I try to search the entry Drarakel created , but the search button didn't find it. Not for imbd number, nor for the movie tittle.
I re-created manually again and upload a smaller version of your cover.
You can found it here:
http://www.movieposterdb.com/movie/0025863/Tempo-massimo.html.
Now you can add your "best" version.
You can search also by IMBD number, or by tittle. It works.

Uploading a 'sample' image is not needed, I think. Adding the movie values should be sufficient. Of course I had tested uploading an image to "Tempo massimo", but I deleted that afterwards.
You can upload to 0036483, too (even though there are no posters yet for that).

Try to upload one image to this 1515059 or this 1530997.
I try and failed. An error occurs, as Ashirg says.

I know! But manually adding the movie (that's what I meant with 'adding the movie values') is enough. You won't find such a movie with the search funtion, but everyone can upload then.
